Virtual Harvester is a training application developed in collaboration with Costa Foods and Melbourne Polytechnic. Its goal is to both teach and assess the fundamentals of mushroom harvesting to new and experienced harvesters.
My role in this project was Primary Developer and Programmer. The project utilised the HTC Vive Pro, Valve Index Controllers, and research and development with various VR tracked haptic gloves, such as the Noitom Hi5 gloves.
The project included both a VR training application, as well as a web-based reporting portal where users sessions were read from a database and presented to the viewer as easy to read reports.
